This Winchester Model 94 in .32 Winchester Special was made in 1951.This a lever-action rifle chambered for the .32 Winchester Special cartridge, a round with slightly larger bullet diameter than the .30-30 but a slower barrel rifling twist rate of 1:16. This slower twist was intended to improve accuracy with black powder and cast bullets, and it offered more power than the .30-30 while having less recoil than the .30-40 Krag, though it never achieved the popularity of the .30-30. Production of this combination ran from 1901 until 1973.
